Has anyone in the Drive Clean region had their pre-cats gutted? How does this affect e-test results? Does it do anything to my CEL or the number of O2 sensors needed?

It is my understanding that they will not affect emmissions so long as the car is warm before the test. As far as the O2 sensors go you will need what are called MIL eliminators to clear the CEL. I don't know what MIL eliminators are but they can be purchased at RadioShack.

I think I've said this quite a few times, but I passed with flying colors with my headers. Just take the car for a nice drive to warm it up first and make sure they don't let it cool down before tehy do the test.

I too have passed, with gutted pre cats. Made sure to take the car for a long drive before hand. I didn't want to fab up the mils myself. So, i purchased them from PerformanceFords.

the "pre-cats" are catylitic converters that are contained in the exhaust manifolds.
There are some how-to's on what is involved in gutting them, but I took the lazy route and bought a set from PerformanceFords.
