What rules are you talking about????

The way this rally is set up GPS will not help you. You definately need a human navigator for this rally.

As for knowing the area well may not necessarily help you either since you do not know where the check points are and the instructions don't necessarily tell you where you are going only how to get there. They are not simple directions like go to street 1 and turn left. They are a little more complicated than that. We have smiley faces that tell you which direction to turn, or we have a dart board which tell you which direction to go etc. It is very creative.

I know the area pretty well too and I dont think it will help me much except that I can't get that lost but I definately can get misplaced.

It probably is more of a challenge than you may think but sure is a lot of fun.

If you want to come, send me an email and I will send you the registration form.

You have to register in advance for this event.

Slight change to the costs of this event. Still $35.00 for SVTOA-TORONTO members, $40.00 for all non-members and $45.00 for non-Ford owners. Hope to see some of you at this event.

It covers the cost of having the Maple Leaf Rally Club organize and put this together. We hire them to do it. It is a lot of work and takes a lot of organizing, planning and people. Plus it also includes the cost for prizes and other administrational costs like copies of documents and such.

We do not cover any speeding tickets though.

MLRC is a large club that organizes very large rallies such as the Rally of the Tall Pines and other Canadian Road Rallys. They put together a very fun, professional event for us.

Rob, you have to come out and give this a try.

Sorry it wasnt a real dart board but one on a piece of paper that you have to cross reference things on in order to figure out which way you were going to turn.

You know, why not come out and try it. You only live once and you have to try new things. You never know you might like it.

Plus we need some more contours at our events. We are usually the smallest group at our events so the more the merrier.
