Hey! If I'm planning on dropping '00 CSVT /currently have 98.5SE Sport 5-speed/ with 1.3" front, 1.2" back H&R springs and ST200 struts...what would be the best wheels & tires combo?! I can't decide if 17" or 18" rims. I prefer 18", but don't want to buy them and realize that I made a mistake. Don't want no rubbing. So what do yall guys think? Is it possible 18" without rubbing if I choose the right size of tires? So basically which one is better, 17's or 18's???! Thank u

If money is no problem then go with the 18's. I have 17's but that was a $$ issue more than anything.

Who cares about rubbing? If you do rub, you'll rub the fender liner. IF that's the case, after a few K miles, you'll rub through it. Problem solved no rubbing. Wheel size doesn't matter. (meaning 17 vs 18") You'd have to mainly look at width of the wheel, offset, and width of the tire. Don't be a wuss and get some 18s -J

18"s are heavier than 17"s ,,,, get some 13"s ,, you could get 19"s.

...how much more are 18's then 17's in the whole scheme of things? 660 for my 18" reactions is pretty reasonable (80$ 580 + 80 shipping)

Yeah in this case I'm gonna go w/18's. If I will get T-red SVT, gonna look for black or hyper black. Black or silver SVT, probably will choose a silver one's. What size of a tires should I choose? 215 or 225???/40 or 45/18????

so... as im understanding what ur sayin...by a couple hundred 17's are 380?? for all 4? i thought the price difference wasn't really that much. if u consider tires + wheels + alignment + balance + mount the difference doesn't seem all that big
