Has anyone changed an SE gauge pod to SVT and if so how hard was it?Also do you have to jump through hoops to get one with correct milage on the odometer or can you just order one new from Ford?

If you have a tach, I can guarantee it will work. I got a used one from the auto salvage yard, w/ only 1300 miles on it for $85+tax. I plugged it right in and it's been accurate ever since. It's not hard to take out. PM if you need anymore detailed instructions.

i have the complete gauge cluster/electronics in my car. the coolant temp and gas gauge did read backwards so i had to pull the faces and put them on my stock se gauges. The speedo did need some recalibrating but that is simple. As far as the odometer, theres some small screws on the back of the odometer that hold in a plastic piece. take those off, and roll back/forward the odometer with your finger.

mine went right in temp and everything was fine, only thing is make sure you a: dont hit the hazard switch while your putting it in b: best bet unplug the battery!!!! i didnt do either after a visit to ford under warranty required me pulling them out well as i was putting them in i hit the hazard switch. melted the whole back of the cluster luckily they were free

So would this work for my Mystique too? I'm thinking it should. What is involved in this "speedo recalibrating"?
