I got some leather protector lotion from Wilson's leather store when I bought my coat. It seems to work well on my car seat and sofa leather, too.

It's dried out, still flexible, but not cracked.
Anyone have any idea's for that?

I'm going to make myself look really old now, but when I grew up we used Neats Foot Oil to soften our baseball gloves. The stuff works great, gets a bit messy, and will probably stain anything lighter than a dark grey or blue. I think its still available at hardware stores. WARNING-May get odd looks and whispers behind your back if you ask for it by name.

Our local paper did a half page bit on leather care in their "Wheels" section. All the experts agreed on Lexol products. Use as directed every six weeks. I have also heard good things about Meguiars and Mothers.

You might try Proofide on the back seat. It's made for and by Brooks Saddle Company in England. I've treated 30 year old bike saddles (left out in the sun and rain) with it, and have brought them back to life.
