my speedo in any gear when on the gas just jumps around it goes from 0 to 130 in like 1 second and it keeps moving around untill i let off the gas then it reads a semi accurate speed. i need help. is this cable or electronic? what the hell is going on i keep passing cops and dont know if they are going to pull me over or not. sometimes when i hit the gas it goes to 0 somtimes 130 and sometimes just bounces. if you can help me it will be greatly appreciated. thank you

IIRC, The +98's were all electronic feeds. I may be wrong, but the sensors output to the speedo could be the culprit.. Take this with a grain of salt, as I never have, nor ever will, claim to be an expert..
my mommys 2000 taurus speedo does pretty durn close to the same thing since new....when at freeway speeds the needle will suddenly jump up 20 to 30 mph and then back down to 10-20 mph below actually traveling speed...then it returns to the actual speed you;re doing....does it every now and then but will happen anytime traveling above 60mph
