I was driving last night and all of a sudden my interior lights began to dim and get dimmer and dimmer... Luckily I made it home but I was curious to see what if i left the car on so i did i came back out and the car was DEAD!!!! Ive been having problemz with the alternator which i replaced 3 wkz ago and I just put in a new battery.

Why am I alwawys having power problems????

You may have another bad alternator. Was the replacement new, used, rebuilt or remanufactured?
Rebuilt ones are not the most reliable. Have the alternator tested.
Otherwise there may be some sort of related electrical wiring problem.

Ill tell you what, I think there is something wrong with the alternators on these cars... Granted, yours is a replacement and isnt the original one, but they still go way too quick IMHO... Im sure it has alot to do with the alternator spinning at like 18,000 RMP at redline, but they are going down faster than waterpumps now!!! -Nick

i was told by mechanic that my alternator is on it way out....im hoping it lasts for a few more weeks though


95 contour se...dark blue...monsterflow air filter...remanuf atx...wiring harness recall or bust!!!96k miles...motorcraft awsf32pp plugs & red ford racing 9mm wires...kvr black plated cross-drilled rotors & carbon fiber pads...currently undergoing renovation...excuse our dust!!!
are my dodgers for real????
