IListen, all I'm trying to say is - your teenage years have passed you by, you probabyly have two or three kids and live in a rambler with your obese wife who doesn't give it up to you anymore(not that you'd want it ), I realize that you must be frustrated! Hell, anyone would and - I don't blame you for trying to reclaim your years lost, but don't brag about going 140 in a... contour. Dam, you make me think you're still sportin the REO Speedwagon t-shirt and you've got a "project" 79 Trans -Am in the garage. The kids need a daddy, don't be an idiot

time to grow some berries chuck. In the great scheme of things, 130MPH isn't fast, especially if you think I'm comparing a contour to a ferrari And, Mr Safety, driving fast is not so stupid to most drivers on a road coarse now is it?
Might I add how well the contour handles at speed anyway?
Not trying to brag here, but it was fun!
Now I can't wait to get my exhaust done!

All my lame comebacks aside , I am seriously not trying to be a dick. We've all gone about that fast and faster, and it is widely accepted that we all have a need for pushing the limits , it's just that some crazy bastard is going to try that and get hurt. My buddy died in a car crash while racing and it hits close to home when I see shite like this. Hell, people on the CEG have died in races! Just looking out. My 2 c

I agree, so here is a disclaimer:
"Do NOT attempt this without proper safety equipment and at least an average or above average alotment of braincells and on a closed course. Do NOT do this on public roads!"
Drive ON!

...then I guess I better not mention hitting 173 in the Vette on a nice early Sunday morning a few years back, since the saftey police seem to be out in force... If asphalt, a divider, and empty lanes qualifies as a track, then yes, I was on one. I wouldn't do it again, as at that speed the front-end starts lifting just a touch, especially over slight rises. It's never a good thing when you can crank the steering wheel left and right and still have no problems going straight...
