Bit of a story, of which I am an observer then a participant
So I am driving home from chicago, today and I am finally arriving back home in northville around 12:30pm. For the first time in the entire trip I see a silver csvt at 6 and 275 - 4 miles from home. Unfortunately as I catch up to it at the 8mile exit I see a grey flash run four lanes right infront of svt which is now in front of me. I wait and for a split second I think the animal made it across safely. Then I see a spinning mess flying underneath the car in front of me.
I realize I do not want to hit this, and check the mirrors, all clear, I swerve planning on straddling this thing. My course becomes a little more difficult as this thing starts to bounce and take a more erratic motions. Now as if it weren't bad enough trying to avoid this thing, the svt in front of me decides to brake. (no offense, I would probably do the same)
I somehow manage to straddle the roadkill while not spinning out the rear end with 95% of the weight on the nose. Then I drive through the biggest cloud of brake dust imaginable. (KVR, autospec, or axxis I presume since the dust sparkled) I debate stopping, but decide not to as I am tired from working on cars all weekend.
The good news is that my new brakes, installed at 5:30 pm today, worked excellent 7 hours and 300 miles later
A couple of questions,
Whos silver SVT, and what damage, I saw a fog light was out.
