Does anyone know how to remove the existing fog lamp housing on a '96 Mystique and replace them with either new factory or different fogs?

I can?t figure out how to get the bracket off the light to take the housing out.
Looks like I may need to remove the front bumper...

If this is the case, how to you get the bumper off?

I don?t want to destroy any of the existing parts... I want to do it the right way.

Can anyone help?

OK, So no one else has a '96 Mystique... or replaced fog lamps in one.

How about this... any ideas how to get the front bumper facia off? I think I can get to the bracket for the fogs if I remove the bumper.

Or is there a better way?

Help... anyone?

My 97 service cd says:

"1. Remove radiator air deflector (8327). Refer to (Section 01-02).
2. Disconnect wiring harness to front fog lamps (15200).
3. From behind front bumper cover (17D957) remove 3 screws on Contour or 1 screww on Mystique retaining each fog lamp to front bumper cover and remove lamp."

Section 01-02:
"1. Remove (9) screws retaining radiator air deflector (8327) to radiator support (16138) and front fender splash shield (16102).
2. Disengage radiator air deflector from front bumper cover (17D957) and remove radiator air deflector fron vehicle."

HTH. I don't know if 96 and 97 were the same and I haven't tried this myself yet.

Let me know if you are able to do this. I keep blowing fog lights and want something better in there anyway. Let me know what you put in that fits well.

Thanks
Dave
