A while back I had what I thought were warped rotors causing a shaking when I brake. Now I have an ABS light... Could the shaking have been the ABS system working? Isn't the ABS light supposed to come on when the ABS is working?

check your brake fluid level and check the wires leading to the front brake rotor sensors to see if came loose during the brake job. maybe you'll be lucky and it will be an easy fix.
