whenever i turn on my car i get 5 long beeps 5 times....and after a half hour of my car being on i get it again....seems odd that even when i plug in my seatbelt it still happens....anyone know why?

Air bag system malfunction. Best to get it checked at a dealer.

hmmm thats a smart idea....but my cars a 95....and the air bag light does not come up......do you tihnk it's possible that since i bought this car from a private dealer that perhaps he ripped out the air bag to get an extra 400 bones???....thanks for the possibility

Does the airbag light turn on when you start the car? It should turn on for a second or two and then go out. If not, it could simply be that the bulb is burned out.
