I just recently installed the Sho Shop Y-Pipe. Once installed the whole exhaust was repositioned to allow the left muffler to rub against the chassis causing a clunking noise. I tried readjusting the exhaust to allow clearance, but it seemed to readjust itself to cause the noise. Has anybody experienced something similar with their Y-Pipe installation, if so how was it remedied? I would like some ideas before I start hacking away to gain more clearance.

I had a similar problem after having a muffler shop finish my install by welding the joints. Before I got there I did not experience any "clunking" but afterwards I did. I suppose the heat expanded it some but I wouldn't think that much. Anyway, my left rear muffler was bumping against a stiffener in back of it. So I had the muffler shop cut a section out of the stiffener to solve the problem.

Thanks for responding, looks like I'm going to have to bend or cut something.
