Let me first how much I love this site and all the people that make it possible...
Well let me begin by sayin I just got my CSVT back from the Shop after a $8,000 acciendt(rear-end,hit-n-run). The shop I took it to did a very good job of fixing it, and it looks brand new. Now I had my car for 3 days, and I was on my way back from PA and my friend was driving. Lost control of my car and hit the divider. Now Institute of Higway Stafety say our bumpers suck, however, as hard as we hit, there is very minimal damage and I proud of that(a deep sratch and paint peeled from the bumper at point of impact)... Now the crazy thing is I'm taking it back to the same shop that I got it fixed at the last time. However the first time I got it fixed there the radio was stolen via the front pass. window. Not to my surprise the shop replaced the window as well as the radio. However, upon final inspection of my car I notice the same window the fixed now has a problem. It seems as the when I roll up the window it makes a high pitch squeal as if the glass was rubbing against the metal track, however I inspected it and I see nothing out the ordinary.... Does any have an idea of what might be the problem so I can fix it or should I just leave it up to the shop(but the way my luck is going I prefer to do it myself)

I see you are silver frost as well. Did they they got your paint matched right ? If you look very close on original\new paint - on original you'll see a frost-like crystals - is it look the same on a parts they paint ?

The windows in my Probe would squeak sometimes.

The fix for that:
1.) TAke off the inside door panel.
2.) locate the tracks for the window.
3.) Put a whole lot of white grease or lube of some sort on the tracks.

Maybe its a different problem. Kinda hard to tell without hearing it.

yeah i had body work done on the passenger side of my car. I was T-boned by a truck. But i had problems with the front window getting stuck..
Well the problem that they found was that the guide'track' (on the front and rear of window frame) was pinched on on the rear.. So when the window was going up it was sticking and scraping.
You can just take the inner door trim and foam insulation layer off and take a look in the door frame to see if the track is pinched or need 2b greased. But it might be the track being pinched causing the scraping sound.. the glass goes in at a slight angle when you put it back in the door. It might have bent the track a bit.. Hope this helps..
