We can host the clan webpage on my server. I just bought a very nice, brand-new computer, just so I could play that game hehe. I'll see if a 2.53ghz processor with 1 gig of RAM and a 128 mb ATI 9700 video card can handle it. But yes, I'm down for starting a clan. Let me know if you want to host the webpage on my server.

i play 1942 all the time, maybe i can shoot some peeps up with yall, maybe check out on making a clan

You should not play and server on the same box. A server shouldn't be more than linux box with good thru put. Video should not be needed!

I have the game (thanks Kazaa) but it never changes. I had a demo awhile back in which it was a first person shooter and you were defending a beach. But, in the background you could shoot the ships (cargo ships, destroyers, etc..) shoot planes (bombers, fighters, etc.) flying overhead, etc.. In fact, you had to shoot certain things in order to advance. What was that game called? I thought it was Battlefield, but I can't find that one anymore. Any ideas??

OOPS I don't have that game. I have Beachhead that's the game that never changes scenery.
I haven't played Battlefield 1942... But I checked google.com and found a site. Looks like a great game!
But my original question stands...what game was that? Is it still Battlefield 1942????

I was hooked on the demo for a while but never bought the full version. If you guys start a clan, I'll pick it up.
