I would like to hear some responses from this myself. Only one problem though, the kit is designed to be installed while rebuilding your tranny and there are not too many of us here that have or can rebuild an automatic tranny themselves. Still interested to see what kind of responses you get here. You might could do some searching or reading on the some of the probe sites out there, like www.probetalk.com I think it is. There is a group that is part of that site called "The A-Team" and they have compiled some interesting information on the CD4E. A good deal of them have some decent rides too.

The kit is 99% valve body, which can be taken off and worked on on a bench. I have the kit sitting at home waiting for me to install it. Sometime shortly I will be installing a cooler, in-line filter, installing the TransGo kit and then flushing the tranny. Before I can do anything, I need to get the valve body plate gaskets and a riviting gun (camphere, rivit & file flat a passage is required).

I had it installed on my ATX in January. I had Aamco install it when they did my rebuild. Cost was about 30 bucks, small compared to the $2800 for the repair. It does require modification to the valve body. Keep in mind that I also had a new plantary, torque converter, valve body, and band installed along with the ATX rebuild kit. The kit does firm up the shifts quite a bit and I still haven't chiped the car yet. This is on a 98 Mystique LS V6 with about 85,000 miles on it.
