you can get a window regulator at the dealer for about $120.
did you know that you have to pull the whole window out to replace it??? the hayes book on the contour gives a pretty good diagram and explanation on how to do it.....
i did it and tried to replace just the cable, have a small metal cutting latch and was planning on making the parts inside the regulator, but it did not come out right, i just gave up and got a new regulator, the small motor come with the regulator... hope this helps.
