Before I got rid of my previous car, a 1994 Tempo, I swapped radios. I liked the Tempo's radio better. That counts as a mod, doesn't it? I also kept one of my Tempo's wheels to use as a spare. I hate those stupid ?compact? spares that come with modern cars. Does this count as a mod? If so, I guess I have two mods. Replaced burned/melted blower switch and connector on 19 February 2002 with a 1P3T toggle switch from Marvac and a Molex connector from Rat Shack; I guess this now makes three mods.)

Best mod I could do for my 1997 Zetec ATX was trade in for a V6 Contour. 
2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO. Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

I can whoop'em in my ATX and I'm completely stock except for my 6 dollar custom intake, Also are they stock. I think it's the 2 3/4in. Theres no back pressure and should be killing your low end, If you get on the high way does it start to pick up after a certain RPM

hmmmmm so my pipe is to big then??? I thought the more free flow of exhuast and no back pressure that te FREE FLOW would make it faster?!? My RPMS dont go past 3K (it shifts gears by then) it also takez a while to get up... (but im not sure my tach is wokring properly)

on mine it's slow until i get to like 3000 rpms...then it picks up.... if u wanna get a decent start then put it in drive 1, wait till it gets in like 6000 rpms or so, then put it in drive 2, wait again, then put in drive. then once u get to like 55 mph put it into overdrive i dunno...the above seems to work better for me than just straight floaring it but yeah...u wanna make mods to it. stock it only has 125 hp...u have more torque than the civic...but they are lighter also....just strap a supercharger onto that mofo
