If nothing else, I'd say that is misdirected. A nation's national anthem is a great source of pride. Attack/protest the politics if you must, but don't boo an anthem, or hang a flag upside down.

Its freedom of speech, If i didnt have family in the US i would move in a second, Im embarrassed to be an american at this point in time because i dont like what the us is doing and making the rest of the people look bad. Like boycotting french stuff, i mean come on, just because they dont agree with us on something we should shut them off  .. Dont get me wrong i hope our troops come back soon and alive. I understand both sides fo this war. Just my opinion. Alpha

you boycott someone to show that if they don't help you won't help them. why should we help the economy in france if they won't help us rid the world of saddam?
BTW-you can always come back and visit your family. i would never be embarrassed of my country no matter where i was from.

i gave up on canadia a couple yrs ago or so when gretzky came out talking shiz about the u.s for some reason i dont quite remember now
