When I saw the pictures from the Iraqi TV broadcast I thought it was a body double for sure... but now I'm leaning more towards thinking it really was saddam (though not neccessarily recorded after the air strikes)

Here is the pic CNN posted in their article about it:



The image on the left is from the last Iraqi TV Broadcast, the one on the right is supposed to be Saddam for sure.

Once you match the colors somewhat between the two images you get this (I did this real quick in photoshop.)



It starts to look more like the one on the left now.
Add the hat and glasses (another quick and dirty photoshop on my part) and I'm starting to think it was really him..




I dunno, what do you guys think?

If it is a double, it's odd that they would speak publically. Usually they are just stand-ins. Then again, it could have been a voice over. But whether it is or isn't him doesn't mean he's alive or dead. It could be a ploy to throw off or confuse US officials. It's a nice thought that we got him already, but I doubt it.

They did voice recognition IIRC and said it was indeed him.

What he looks like now or within the next few weeks.
