I have just took off my headlights and i am planning on removing the orange plastic piece in it. I took out every bolt on the back of the headlight and i cant get the back off of it. Does anyone know how to remove this? Or if i even need to remove it to get rid of the orange piece?

I think you just pop it off through the turn signal hole. Wiggle the light around till you can get the reflector over that same hole and snap it to pieces with needlenose pliers.

But, since I can't remove mine, I am going on what I remember. Have you look in the mod section on the main part of the site?

the screws on the back don't seperate the clear headlight from the backing. i can't remember exactly what they seperate but you don't need to loosen those. just remove the entire headlamp housing itself from the car. remove the wires connecting the lamps and you should now have a hole into the headlamp housing. other guys said just to use a screwdrive to push the orange reflector off but i wasn't getting anywhere due to the slim angles inside the headlamp. my stepdad had a 90-degree screwdriver or something that did the trick. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PUSHING THE ORANGE PIECE OFF. the silver reflector around the whole headight scratches VERY EASILY! there is another "how-to" with a dremel but i don't know how to do that one with details!

pretty much a how-to in a nut shell.

I used a 90 degree screwdriver to pry them out through the light socket hole and after that you get some needle nose pliers or snips to break it apart inside and get a vacuum or a blow hose to get the pieces out.

Guys, I'm going to do this this weekend. My friend has a heat gun, it'll loosen the glue, etc. I'll give ye all some specs on it afterwards if you like.
