Looking under the hood while the engine was idleing, I noticed that the DMD had an ever so slight wobble. Barely discernable. Anybody else notice this? The install went like clockwork and the car runs great, but I want to make sure that wobble isn't getting transfered to the crank, that's the whole point of the thing. As a comparison, the PS pulley had no wobble.

At idle? I don't think so.
I don't think it'll hurt the motor even at higher RPMs.

Put a strobe light on the damper at the right frequency and you'll see that thing dance at any RPM.

It is the outer metal lip, furthest away from the block. The only weird thing from install was that the washer used when seating the pulley was bent into a slight bowl shape, but it was evenly bent.

I noticed the same phenomenon about 3mos. ago...
* asked the same question(s) here at that time...most everybody thought a slight wobble @ idle was probably normal.
* had the guys at FordPartsOnline.com (Atascadero Ford) look at it...they said it was probably normal.
* had my mechanic look at it...he said it was probably normal.
The one person who would be able to give a definitive answer would be Terry Haines.
