What up southern cali CEG'ers. Was wondering if there is anyone in the L.A. area that might help me put on a DMD. I would do it myself but i'm kinda hesitant and scared to mess something up on my engine. All I need is a little guidance from someone who has already performed this mod. Thanks a lot.

you could come down her to north county(50 miles north of san diego) we all get together almost every weekend, We did 2 in a few hours, and then i did a 3rd the next day in 45 min. So needles to say were getting pretty proficient at it

remind them to put RTV sealant on the washer around the keyway if they help you.

There is a nice 'How to' with pictures and a list of tools you will need in the FAQ forum here. It's not difficult to do if you have all the tools needed. My friend and I did mine in a couple of hours.

Thanks a lot for all your input. I won't be able to do it this weekend but hopefully soon. By the way did any of you paint your DMD because mine seems to be in raw form. I have one concern about it though because the rubber that goes around the second dampner (the part that the belt never touches) seems to be peeling a bit. Is this a big problem or should I not be concerned about it. If anybody wants to see it down here in southern cali i'll show you it. Thanks again. Lates.

mine had a little chip of rubber missing and its fine, iirc no ones is perfect everyone seems to have a little extra rubber or a little missing, I realy dont think its a prob. at all.
