I know there are some linux users in this forum, but I was wondering if any of you have experience with Clarkconnect.
Clarkconnect is a linux utiliy that converts a PC into a router/web/ftp server/email, etc.
I have a clarkconnect box that's on the fritz.
The harddrive is constatly working really hard and the modem lights are always blinking. I think the box has been compromised and that someone installed something that makes it go wacky. I have looked at my startup logs and everything is fine.
I have already removed the box from the internet incase this was the problem. Has anyone had any issues with this or does anyone know if there is a way to check to see what my box is doing at a given point in time? I almost seems like it's stuck in a command and can't get out of it.
I have already made plans to reinstall Clarkconnect on it, but that's quite a bit of work. I would prefer not doing this but it looks like my only option.
Anyone have experience with this?
