every time i start it up it shuts right off, only after warming it sufficiently does it stay on, ive checked all the hoses and vacuum and i just had a new ignition coil installed, any one with this problem and how to i fix it.

This could be a lot of things - but if it's truly temperature related the ECT may be bad. This can make the PCM think the engine is already hot, so it won't provide extra fuel for warmup.

Your problem may be the IAC (Idle Air Control valve IIRC). One day I went to start my car and it would crank, fire, and then die. It seemed like the idle wasn't catching; I read through the trouble shooting forums and found that the IAC can get stuck and cause this. I took the IAC off and cleaned it and it fixed the problem.

i think this could be it since its not happening now that it has warmed up, by the way what is an ect??

ECT = engine coolant temperature [sensor]
