OP asystole New CEG\'er A Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 39 Roscoe, IL	every time i start it up it shuts right off, only after warming it sufficiently does it stay on, ive checked all the hoses and vacuum and i just had a new ignition coil installed, any one with this problem and how to i fix it. 98.5 SVT 2.5l v6 98.5 Silver CSVT 93 Black TBird SC

xdouble_dup1 CEG\'er X Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 250 State College, PA	Your problem may be the IAC (Idle Air Control valve IIRC). One day I went to start my car and it would crank, fire, and then die. It seemed like the idle wasn't catching; I read through the trouble shooting forums and found that the IAC can get stuck and cause this. I took the IAC off and cleaned it and it fixed the problem.
