well i blew the stock radiator today in a race, installing my high preformance dual core saturday...but how do i get to it? i have to take the front bumper off?  Please help me out here fellas.

the radiator comes out of the bottom of the vehicle. the easiest way is to dicharge the a/c, and pull the condensor, radiator and fans as an assembly. it can be separated in the vehicle if you don't want to lose your freon.
we normally do these on a lift, but if you can get the front of the vehicle off the ground at least the height of a radiaor (2 feet or so) you can probably do it.

I had just had my radiator replaced a couple of months ago. We did not have to talk off the front bumper. We jacked up the car. And dropped the radiator out from the bottom. We ended up taking out the dual fans, but did not discharge the ac or any sort. This was quite a long task. I'd say it took about 8 hours. It is a very tight space up there in the front of the car.

ok well i have car ramps, ill try it myself. i checked and i saw the mounts. im putting in twin fans too.

if you know how to take off the radiator on most fords from the top then think bottom on the contour.. have to have th front wheels on a lift or ramps to get clearance to pull the rad. down and off.. remove the plastic shield under it with about 6 or so torx screws and you can see the bottom of the radiator, remove the top and bottom hose to rad. then go to the radiator mounting parts that hold the rad. on to the frame, body..... no need to remove the front bumper nor the freon or a/c unit...

when u say crank, u mean crankshaft, crankcase? i dont know for sure...its a guess, i added up all the HP from the mods i have done and it came out at 298. im guessing its at the crank. but with my MTX i dont think i am losing to much between the crank and the wheels

ok i replaced the one on my dads F-250. thanks for your help dbird! good to have friends here, i seem to be getting a bad rap from some of these people...[censored] skeptics...
