As opposed to all the ATX SVT's out there...

Also that trap speed is BS.

Bone stock SVT average time is 15.2-15.3 @ 90-91

A very exceptional driver may knock a tenth or two off at the same trap speed.

My highest trap speed ever was 94.43. No way (unless the track runs VERY downhill) a stock or stock-like 2.5 traps at 96.

Don't you just love all the people who know every thing about what EVERY SVT can run mph wise, when ran down the track by EVERY driver?

Damn, if dude says the fastest he's seen out of an SVT is a 96 trap speed, then why argue with him? If you weren't there, then your facts might as well be just as BS as his. So, even though this is America and your free to state your opinion, you ought not flame the shyt out of somebody who claimed to see something you didn't. Geez...grow up.

Oh and by the way, my Mystique Z-ATX topped out at 493 mph on the runway yesterday.

It's called simple laws of physics.

200HP accelerating 3200+ lbs and taking into account drivetrain loss (165-168FWHP) will run around 89-91 mph terminal speed depending on various track conditions. (weather, elevation, "slope", etc) That's also provided the driver hits all the shifts too but that would be considered a given!

Running 96mph in a "bone stock" SVT would take around 250 "crank" HP (~200FWHP) Give or take a few based on conditions. (see where bone stock and 250HP argue with one another)

Physics does not lie which only leaves one other option. Hence why we call out anyone who argues physics without concrete proof. (I.E. The Prove it or Lose it school of thinking)

So there is a very logical reason as to why it happens ALL the time. You should think about using some and "growing up" yourself or at least "wising up" as no one should ever have to fully "grow up".

I suppose I could put it in more base terms for those folks playing on that level. (No finger pointing just a free shot! )

"If you talk out your ass you will get your head stuck back up it. Take it to another site! No BS here!"
