"Contour SVT HiFlow Intake The factory air box offers decent air flow when supplemented with a K&N air filter. An additional 3-4 HP are released from a K&N. However, when further performance modifications are done the Airbox becomes a restriction. At higher power levels, to improve airflow into the engine, we offer a custom built air-box that utilizes cone filter and a heat shield to let the engine breathe in abundant and cool air from the fender. It adds 4-6HP on stock engine and as many as 9 HP on a 3.0L conversion. For those wanting to make their own cold air kits, we offer a package without a heat shield. Cold Air Intake System w/Cone filter - $109 (SAVE $40!)"

I bought mine almost two years ago and its was iirc 110.00 I think it was like a chrismas spec. 98 csvt t-red.. sho-shop intake, b&m, fidanza, spec1 clutch, Torsen, DMD,optimized Y& TB, Brullen, rear strut bar,h&r's,17" konig traffik's. Baby SHO CEG\'er B Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 392 Omaha	I got my SHO Shop Intake kit last summer for $109 (which included a $30 off summer special). The heatshield is alright but I replaced the filter with a much bigger K&N filter. I would recommend the D-Tec tuning heatshield with a K&N filter. 1998 SVT
