I was just browsing the other day and came across JVC's new lineup for 2003. They look pretty nice, and may possibly sway me from my regular Alpine faithfulness.

JVC Linkie

The KD-SH9750 in particular interests me. Its part of the new Digifine series to replace the SH909 I am sure. Looks like the new display probably will fix the blurry scrolling problems many have talked about, and I hope they fixed the point that you can't have an "off" feature for the non fading sub crossover output function.

So its now a tradeoff between buying the JVC SH9750 (have to wait a month though until it comes out), and the new Alpine 9815 for me.

Oh, man!!! You let the secret out of the bag!!

I have been in posession of the JVC 2003 literature since CES in January trying to decide if I go with the 9750 to replace my Digifine 2.1 KD-SH77, of if I make the leap to video and get the new DVD player and monitor, along with a CD changer that has the same or better specs than the Digifine in dash models...

JVC is definitely coming out with awesome stuff in 2003...

Whoa! Those look great! I like how all the controls are moved closer to the driver's side-more ergonomic. Also the redesigned display looks like a huge improvement over the first series. The display's visability is the only complaint I have for either of the two units I've owned. I have the KD-SH77, which replaced my SH55. I'm a JVC whore. I'll definitely be on the look out for that 9750 in the future....

They are impressive looking. If JVC keeps this up (making great looking and sounding products) they are really going to turn the corner and become one of the most popular brands.

I've never like the SH models with their ghey looking OEL. But have always loved their digifine stuff.
