My car has been driving good for along time and now it is missing bad and almost dies when you come to a stop. If the A/C is on it is really bad. HELP!!!!!! HELP!!!!!! :(My car is a 95 Contour LX.

Plugs?

Fuel? My car was just doing that last week when I put my new injectors in and using a bottle of Redline SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner cleared it right up. My car missed at high RPM and couldn't sustain idle a lot when decelerating from higher RPM. Its worth the $5 to try it.

You put in new injectors?

Hey, my '95 Gl is doing the same.
It misses when accelerating and the idle is jumping around.

All of the injector wires on mine are cracked to pieces. I tried a new set of plug wires AND a fuel filter.

I'm really frustrated!

JWP, I thing the 95 LX only came with the V6, so you might also want to check for loose or cracked hoses connected to the air intake. There is a recall on the engine wiring harness. If you see cracked wires under the hood, take it in! The plug, wires and fuel filter should also be checked and replaced if needed. If it runs smooth except for idle, the IAC valve could be clogged or dead.
