OP freezin my A-- off! CEG\'er F Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 90 Anchorage Alaska	My stereo quit working and i have a tape stuck in it. it is a stock stereo in my 1995 contour GL. How do i fix the stereo? it wont even turn on. Its done it before a couple of times, but i am tired of paying to have it fixed. please help. open to all suggestions. 300 HP 1995 Contour GL...Gold Metallic paint in july 2001, i was driving my honda civic and was hit by a drunk. it totalled my honda and i sued for $250,000. i won. 50k for school, 50k for my 95GL 150k for new house.

The DIN tools for removal from dash are available at Wal-Mart and other stores, although some owners successfully use bent coat hangers. red99sesport Veteran CEG\'er R Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 655	If you paid to have it fixed before, why just not ditch it and get someting new. Anything new will come with a warranty. Will cost less than having it repaired I imagine. Also, look in the classifieds to see if there is a tape deck for sale, may be better to replace yours.
