since he is offering the tranny to the high bidder.......i dont see why not....if someone had the money.......not too bad a deal......take you a tour, put the svt kit on it.....drop this engine in, with the jackson racing supercharger....i saw where the focus puts out 204 hp at the wheels with the charger on the svt engine......faster than a regular contour svt......and you still have a contour svt!!!!

from what i hear, you'd be better off using a beefed up mtx75 than the svt focus's tranny.

should be straight forward if you already have a zetec in your contour with MTX, just switch out all the components that make the tranny match up to the engine and install on new engine. there may be more involved though, so don't qoute me.

sorry to say this and pop your bubble, but you also need the SVT computer from the focus, and you need one with the recall computer doce I think it is call the RA6 engine code that is the new one...

Yes it will and has been done a couple of time from Foci peeps...
However, you need the new computer for the engine itself, not the transmission. The SVT Focus Zetec is still a zetec, just messed with head...
