I have read a couple of the posts about changing the transmission fluid on the V6/MTX models. In one of the posts, somebody asked if you could use a substitute for Ford's Friction Modifier, and the answer was NO. So I decided it was time to change my fluid (50,000 miles) so I went to the local ford garage and asked for a bottle of the friction modifier. They sold me a bottle of WYNN'S Friction Modifier, and said that is what they use on all of their vehicles. The price of the bottle was right around $18. I know $18 was high for the bottle, but does anyone have any feedback about whether or not this product meets or exceeds Ford's FM?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

$18 I just looked up my receipt and I paid less than $5 for Ford's FM. I'm not sure about the quality or comparison between them though.

I'll put holes in him!!
