My buddies contour SVT mtx, is making a moosing sound at like 3000rpms and at turns. Anyone got any ideas?

Tell him that he has to do the throttle hang fix. Check the FAQ and go under common problems and complaints. The small hose that goes from the throttle body hose to the intake manifold, it has to be taken off and he can go to the hardware store and a 1/2 copper pipe cap and drill a 15/64 hole in the middle and put it in the hose and reconnect it and pull out fuses 4 and 11 in the power distribution box for about 2 minutes and put them back in. Before starting turn on the healight and the A/C.

I had the same problem. I performed the fix and it worked for 2 weeks, but I ended up replacing the IAC valve. Cost me $70, at the Ford dealer believe it or not!

where is the IAC valve in our cars??

There is a nice picture of it in the FAQ's section. It is located on the driver side almost directly in front of the steering wheel, under the hood of course. It is silver you can't miss it.

So you can reset the computer to clear the memory. That's why you have to remove those 2 fuses. Also it also learns the new postion of the iac valve.
