Today I was driving my car on the highway and it wanted to drive itself. By driving itself I mean the RPM's stayed up around 4500. The RPM seemed to rise a little when I put the clutch in. Is that what the THFix is for or do I have another problem? This happens quite often, mostly rpms stay around 2000, stopped at light. And between 3000 and 4500 between shifts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've had the exact same problem. Severe throttle hand, even surging up to 4500 and sitting. I just reset the comp whenever it starts to do it and it seems to work for about 500 miles or so. I've also noticed it does it when I "baby" it, dont take rpm's above 4500. If I drive it hard, it wont do it. Wish I could help you more.
