I have read posts about fog lights. Mine do not come on. The fuse under the hood appears good. Is there an easy way to verify that the relay under the dash is OK? People talk of a noise. Mine does not make any noise, but then if it's a scarcely-noticeable noise, I could be missing it.
Also, does anyone know about the (missing) underhood daytime runnning lights relay? Is that a Canadian item?

I am also looking to purchase a fog light relay. If oyou find the part # let me know. Daytime running light relay is located in the fuse box under the hood. Mine cost around $35.00 from my local For dealer.

Noise of relay operating is a quick check that its coil is operational. In this case the noise when you pull the headlight switch out can easily mask the relay sound. However if you have headlights on, pull switch out to fog position and then turn headlight switch back and forth between park and headlight positions you should be able to hear relay operate.
You have checked Fuse 5 7.5 amp engine compartment fuse box as being ok but the bulbs should also be checked, after you confirm 'click' of relay operation.

I followed your procedure: sometimes I have heard a click. But sometimes, I don't hear it. My hearing is good. I hope this is not an "intermittant" short or broken circuit: those are the worst. The lighted green dash indicator for fog lights always comes on correctly. I will check some of the wiring. But probably won't get to it until later this week.

Indicator on confirms relay working, suggest bulb check.
Search of DRL in General Mod forum should get you info on that topic.
