Ok As I have said in the past I drive a silver 1999.5 Tour LX I have been given the go ahead to fix up the Tour from my wife with her blessing, and now with taxes, and a great job I have saved up several thousand dollars. I want alot of mods, at reasonable prices (more bang for my buck) so If you all in the club would help me I would really appreciate it, and if I have ever stepped on anyones toes in the club, please accept my deepest appologies. I am going to put down what I need and if you can provide contact info, prices, pros and cons, and what ever else you think will help. Thanks for the help in advance, and no I will not get a different car, I own this one:) The mods I am looking into are: *new paint- Taken care of going all pearl white with a hint of purple *Wheels and rims-Thank you Pascal I ordered them thursday *Big Brake Kit- Strut/spring combo *Interior- Taken care of, MY rice friends. *Pilar pods and guages- *Front strut bar *front sway bar *rear tower strut support-I am most likley going with Chris on this one *rear sway bar *exhaust system(duel) *Intake/ filter *who are the definate ones on a turbo kit, which one will be the best *plugs+wires *super chip *computer/engine management system *under drive pullys *N2O (NOS) VCN-2000? *Automatic shifter replacement *brake lever replacement *Fog lights *Stearing Wheel *Stand Alone fuel System-Do I even need one of these with the turbo *Spoiler *Driving bulbs *reverse hood latches *cam geams *new Headers *upgraded ignition *Blow off valves *side mirrors with lights *Body kit-Taken care of HellaHydros kit with stock SVT front end with the Mirko Spitter *roll bar *super flow fuel pump (Venom) *fuel rails *bigger injectors *boost controlers *Intercooler-will this be included in both turbos and any thing else you all can come up with.Yes I *have done a search and read for the past few weeks, and have a million notes, but I figure I will just post and see what help I get. Remember this is the 2.0l 4cyl DOHC w/ VCT 1999.5 Tour So I dont get answers for parts that will not fit a 4cyl. Thanks again.-Sunny

Good to see it's getting on someone's "list". But another thing - how much damn money did you save??? Geez that's a long list! If you're going w/ a turbo, I think the intake/filter part will be included, so a separate unit should not be needed. Best dual exhaust I can recommend is the SVT exhaust. I did it and gained about 2hp on the top half of the RPM range (dyno-proven). I think the Aussie Bar is a rear sway, but not sure if you can get them right now. Might want to throw this in the Zetec or General Mods sections.

On a 95 you may consider, depending on miles, putting some of that into the 'basic engine' before you bolt on too many mods....

I have a little over six grand that I have saved from last year, and into this year. The paint job is only 900 bucks, the interior is around 700, and wheels and rims are 1300 so I still have a little over 3100 bucks left. I was toying with just putting that into a Audi a-6 but I dont want another payment. And I love my Tour. How many HP do you all think I could get with those mods?

I do understand that the turbo, which ever one is offered for sale, is going to run 3-5K so dont take the turbo or parts relating to the turbo into effect, but contact info for them would be helpfull on this, I can afford it when it comes to it. I do have a great job,and my wife pays all the bills..She has a really good Job, some may say that makes me a bumb others say Im lucky as hell, either way I love her, she gave me the ok , and she actually is talking part in this Talk about a great person, the only stipulation was she got new tires and rims for the Slowburban... So just figure in the other stuff-Thanks Sunny

Call Terry at HMS. (Look up a few posts for Terry Haines and PM him). He has a turbo out. He is the man for any of this stuff. PM him w/ this whole question. He'll take care of you
