Zetec, ATX.
Climbing hi-way on-ramp, 50-60 mph, in O/D and still accelerating.
Feel a fraction of a second loss of power.
By the time I realize it has happened, it's back to normal.
Has happened 2 or 3 separate occasions.

Any ideas? Should l start looking at the engine or transmission?

Repairs: * wheel bearings * sway bar stop * left CV joint * alternator * shift interlock *heater tube * VSS *tensioner *

Possibly a small misfire?? confused Just guessing here. Check your plugs and wires. That'd be a good place to start. smile

If the RPMs dropped when you felt the loss of power its engine related. If the RPMs climbed when you felt the loss of power, the tranny would be slipping.
