Hey guys, thought I'd post up some pics of my car with my new wheels/tires. the wheels are Velox VX-8's, in Gunmetal with polished lip in size 17". The tires are 225/45/17 Falken Azenis Sports, though you can't really see them too well. Yes the car is kinda of dirty, and yes this is way early to be putting them on in Northern Michigan, but my old tires were dead and I couldn't afford any new ones...so on these went. I'm paralyzed in the snow, serves me right I guess, anyway, comments are appreciated. http://www.pbase.com/redcaddy75/car_stuff&page=2

Not trying to be a hardass or anything, but the rims just aren't my forte. The gunmetal color is kinda too dark for the silver. Perhaps if you got them in a lighter color silver, they'd flow better with the rest of the color. Unless of course, those were your intentions. Nevertheless, the design itself is still really cool. I like them!  P.S. Check out the "Project Contours" thread and lemme know what you think. Perhaps we can convince a skilled one out there to lend a hand in creating some new body kits.

Finally! Someone that does it right (I know cuz I did the same thing) You LOWERED it and THEN put wheels on it! It looks pretty good, I like

Yeah yeah....now shush!  I would go swimming but the bay has about 10 inches of ice on it...and the lakes around here have a foot or more.
The rims looked too dark for the car to me at first too, but they really kind of grew on me, I like them now. Plus when it's dry, I grip the road like never before. I took the left hander (corner) onto my road at 40 last weekend when it was dry and never heard so much as a squeal from the tires. In contrast though, today I almost got stuck multiple times.....in about an inch of snow....on the flat.  Thanks for the comments and complements though guys, I appreciate them.

i like them but I don't...I don't know, maybe its the deep dish thing or somethin
