OP JonGordo8 Veteran CEG\'er J Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 974 Lake in the Hills, IL	I am looking at getting an Alpine CDA 7998 to replace the CDA 7864 I currently have in there. It is a really cool deck, however I am wondering if anyone has put one of these in a contique? I know in my mystique I have a lip that comes out just above the radio space in the dash, and well I am worried the screen (its the 1.5 din that comes out) will be too big and have clearance issues. jshimer23 CEG\'er J Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 265 West Chester, PA	i've stated this in other posts, i have a 7897. yes, if you install the unit all the way in, the face will get hung up on that lip. i was gonna file but afraid it might look horrible when the face was retracted. so i just installed the install sleeve slightly out (as in, not all the way in ). that gave the face plenty of room to extend out all the way and not get hung up. looks great, you can however see the install sleeve a little bit (and i mean just a little) when the face is retracted. 01 Black Honda S2000 99 svt Tred/tan #2394 of 2760 on July 29, 1999 SOLD
