Sidewinder 6500ESP w/remote start(I have an ATX). Had I known that DEI's new LCD pager remotes were not a compatible "upgrade" with my alarm I would have waited(I thought they would be an optional add on, which they were not ).

I have the 2WFMR CompuStar alarm and auto start on my MTX. Kinda expensive but worth every dollar spent: it has remote door+trunk and upto 2 more auxiliary options, turbo mode, timer start mode, pager and 2 way comunication remote.
sorry don't know much about the Ungo systems.

Thanks for the responses, I think I'm going to go with the Viper 790xv system. http://www.viper.com/security/viper/viper_responder.asp I can get it from a local dealer for $500 installed, including the removal of my old system. They are even going to clean up the horrible install job that the other place did for free.

No need, I had nothing but problems with my Ungo alarm since day one. Finally the remotes stopped working. I don't have my original reciept so I can't get those replaced..so it's time to move on. I won't be sad to see it go..lol

The viper responder has the same options as my system minus color LCD, turbo timer (not like I have one), and the 2 xtra optional auxiliary that can be customized to control other powered options (Iā??m thinking about hooking up the defroster and windows).
Dealer asked $380CND for the system $400CND for the install and $50 for removing my old alarm. Ended up paying $560CND thru one of my friend's hook-up, so $500 is reasonable.
