Would anyone buy a 98 CSVT w/67000 miles on it?
The engine it well takes care of, and I took it on a test drive and it seems great. There is however damage to the paint. Not a big concern, since it's just asthetics.
There asking 9326..
Is that a fair deal? What do you guys think?

Hey, mine has about 64K on it and still drives like a dream. I'm sure that car has plenty of rice racing power for another 67K plus! That is kind of a wierd price, tell him you won't pay more than 8976 and see what he says.

Depends on the extent of the paint damage... I'd probably try to get him into the mid-$8's.

I'm up to 83K on my 98.5 with no major problems of which to speak. Look for the common problems (water pump, warped rotors, any tranny work). Expect to have minor problems (squeaks/rattles) but major problems aren't as much of an issue on these cars.

if you can grab it for 8.5k, i'd say that's an excellent deal.

Drive it again, and put it through it's paces. Make sure you feel how it goes into all the gears. Also, whip it around a few corners pretty hard and listen for any clunking from the rear. Other than that, for under $10k, that sounds like a good deal, even if the paint needs some work. That will leave you with money for the TURBO!!!

that price is less than wholesale so it is a great price depending on the paint work. the car should have a lot of life left in it. always offer less just to see what happens, but this is a fair price. take it . you will enjoy it.

I can't get this SVT that I found. Well I can't get anything until I sell this car that I'm in now. They were only going to give me 7000 for it, when I can sell it out right for a lot more.
I was without a car for over a month due to some wise ass hitting me, totalling my car. So I started searching for an SVT and couldn't find one in a reasonable price range. My Mom ended up buying a new car, and gave me hers.. It's a nice car but it's not what I want..
So if anyone here knows someone that wants a fully loaded 1999 Taurus SE w/ 46k, please let me know.. Or anyone that knows of the best way to sell it out right.
E-Mail me if you want pics or more info.
Thanks in advance, Jonathan
P.S. Let's try and get me in an SVT!!!!!!!!!!!
