Simply wire a toggle switch between your deck and the antenna, so you can open and close the connection whenever you please!! CSVT Feels Like Heaven Goes Like Hell Profile

I think it's pretty cool to pop it up and down, and I have tried a couple of times to try and 'snag' my sister-in-law when she is near it to my great amusement.
