Hello All, I am a newbie and had a newbie question. Is it possible to get a fairly stock replacement exhaust system and substitute a high-flow muffler instead of the standard replacement muffler? Do any shops do this kind of work? I live in the Annandale, VA area and would care to find a local shop that can provide such a service. Thanks and my apologies if this is a stupid post!

Many shops can do this, but you are better served getting an aftermarket system that other's have as it is usually a known quantity...just my .02$

Here lies anopther NEWBIE question. What size would work? That is, diameter of pipe in/out
Crux: I am trying to purchase a generic (if there is such) Turbo muffler from JCWhit and need the specs of the stock exhaust, so that I might do have a shop do the exhaust work with replacement stock pipes and the Turbo muff that I purchase. As I recently failed my state's (Va) annual safety inspection, I need a new exhaust, but since I recently got laid off from my job...Economical performance is not an oxymoron/
THANKS!

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.
