I need your help and your opinions about those exhaust options
I have 3 options: 1st: My first options was the true duals, 2 x 2.25'', stainless steel, mandrel bent, wich was suppose to be developped by Yo-Dude (no more news until this spring...) the cost suppose to be 800-900$ approx. with two cats.
2nd: My second option is the True duals wich was suppose to be developped by SteBro, 2 x 2.0'', stainless steel, but it seem GB didn't get enough interest to go on... and it seem to be crush bent ( mentionned mandrel bent on GB but on website all exhaust seems to be crush bent... not sure ) the cost suppose to be 695$ without 2 cats
3rd: Brullen quiet system: with the groupbuy (until 31 march) the sytem is available at 510$ but I still remain with the stock y-pipe and cats
thanks a lot

I think 2x2.25 would be a bit too big for any 2.5 I'll try to get the GB going as soon as the pulley GB is over. But we really need a bit more interest to be able to do it. The system is gonna be built using 439 SS and the price for it is just amazing. I am pretty sure all their exhausts are mandrel bent. The cats are extra but I think they are gonna be extra in the yodude one too (who needs cats anyways )

My only thought on this would be to stick with a system that has dyno'd results and is inexpensive...go with Borla, or Bassani or Brullen, etc.....At least they are proven and you won't have to wait for someone to figure out what the right combo for your application is (with true-duals) or for someone to actually buid it (Easier said than done)

Heck it's even too big for any NA 3L as well.
I have a very strong feeling they are going to have a lot of pissed off $900 customers if they choose and sell it at that size!

NEVER get any crush bent setup. Never, Ever, never, ever... (get the point )

The Brullen Quasi is a good exhaust. IIRC it uses straight through mufflers and it definitely uses a 2.5" single pipe. Both of those are "required" components in a good Quasi setup.
Yo-Dude Quasi is another good choice since you state you will be using the stock Y-pipe and pre-cats. I feel it would start getting a bit raspy and definitely droney and boomy with an off road Y. (It only has 1 muffler) Definitely deadly on those 3 points with no pre-cats & offroad Y.
Though with that said for less then the Brullen you could get the Yo-dude setup & modify your stock Y-pipe and be well ahead on performance!

So as what I understand it remain 2 options (even if a 3L in the future)
The True Dual from SteBro (confirmed mandrel bent), 2 x 2.0'', no cats at 695$ (GB not sure to start, only 2 interested) But no dyno proven efficiency
OR
The Quasi-Dual from Brullen, the ''quiet'' one; (if I plan to gut my precats or get MSDS and install straight pipe in place of the main cat). at 510$ (or the yo-dude quasi at 490 but really really too loud for me)
---------
what could be the best setup between: stock headers, stock y, no main cats, brullen/yo-dude Quasi dual
AND
stock headers, True Dual (no cats)
thanks Simon-Pierre

It was just posted in the Brullen GB that if you do get the Brullen system, the PF y pipe will be 10% off.
This is the route I will be going (either that or a BAT y pipe) with the Brullen Cat Back
Just another option for you to consider.

Hey I'm hosting the Brullen GB and everything that Bridge said was true. Also, the Brullen is rated at a higher HP than the other Cat-Backs You can also customize the system for free(tips) or at little cost(bigger pipping). Here is the thread. Brullen

Everyone of these will have their strong and weak points, at least sound wise. I have a very small, light drone window at exactly 3000rpm (gone at 3150). Yet I have yet to hear a SE or SVT that sounds better than mine.
Yes I have crush bends. But they are at the rear of the muffler, where I have 2 X 2.25inch pipes going out. So I feel I am not missing much. The system is very heavy, and hangs low (a bit too low since the accident). And you can probably find a better performing one (a few hp at most). But to me, the sound is worth all the compromises.

I have the Brullen, and I would recommend also purchasing the Brullen 2.5 inch straight through resonator it will add to the sound, that's the route I'm going.
