Has anyone had problems with their contique frosting on the inside of the windscreen ??

I've noticed that when it's cold there is always a lot more frost on the inside than there is on the outside when I start her in the morning.

Today for instance, last night it was 0 degrees C, this morning -28 degrees C. There was no frost outside at all, only on the inside of the windows.

As a side-note, I need to also know the name of a few places that import Mondeo parts from the UK as I've decided for sure now that I want to try and drop in a 'QuickClear Windshield' and see if I can hook it up.

Thanks,

Rabbit.

Has the windshield ever been replaced? More than likely it's bad seals on the glass somewhere... very close to where you see the frost the most. I have the same problem on my back window at the bottom constantly in freezing cold weather like this. The glass place has to re-seal my window again because of it.

Oops, I forgot to mention that all the windows frosted on the inside, not just the windscreen. Windscreen was on my mind because I really think I need a QuickClear.

All the windows frost about the same, windscreen, door windows, and rear window too. There's no single spot which is worse than the rest. I haven't checked the sunroof yet, but I'm going to slide back the guard incase I get mildew on it.
It kind of makes me think there's a lot of moisture inside and I need to dehumidify it.

Thanks,

Rabbit.

The problem is that as the air in the car cools it can't hold the same amount of moisture any more, so it condenses out onto the coldest part of the car, the windows, and freezes. Mine does it sometimes, but I park in a garage so it's not so bad.

Worst case could be leaking heater core, but this would usually also be evident in warmer weather along with anti-freeze smell.

And it would leak coolant, right ??
I've noticed that occaisionally there are a couple of drops on the ground somedays. Never noticed more than twice in about 3 months, I was going to check it out when the weather gets warmer, not too worried as it's such a tiny amount and so rare that it appears, but in my opinion a leak is a leak !

Also, I remember reading about the A/C having dehumidifying properties ... any ideas about the what-not's of how it works ?? Is there a temp, internal or external, that kind of thing.

Thanks,

Rabbit

This happens to me occasionally, but I found that if I leave a window open just a little bit (even less than a centimeter) it helps a lot.
