What's Up. I have a 99 SVT, and this is my first time posting. I've been reading the forums for a few weeks.

Here's the problems. I installed a new pioneer HU, and Bypassed the amp. Here are the problems:

1. The power antenna will not work!!! it's hooked up.
2. I cannot get any radio sound just static. CD's work great.
3. This is wierd. my keyless entry no longer works. this is real strange. does this have anything to do with the install??? it worked fine before.
4. the inside lights no longer work,

Please reply b/c I need to resolve this ASAP. I bypassed without as harness, maybre this has something to do with it, I ran new wires to my speakers.

Thanks in advance...

Joe

Wow thats alot of stuff going on there.

Hmm the interior lights could be cuase by a fuse??
The Radio not working is probably the Ant!!! The reason it won't go up is the Power ant lead isnt' connected.

Not a clue about your Keyless unless it is a fuse and its the same fuse at the interior lights.

Post where you live and maybe one of out experts can help you.

Sounds like you blew a fuse and don't have the power antenna lead hooked up.

your keyless entry system is that little grey box , right next to your factory amp, are you sure you didnt accidently pull the plug , or any wires from it. Probably fuses for the lights, antenna sounds like it pulled out from the Pioneer when you put it back into the dash. Take it out, look at it all again, and troubleshoot lol . Hope this helps

I have checked the fuses already, but i will double check them. I will also check the Gray box aswell.

Thanks for all your help. I checked the antenna and it's plugged in, I think it's not getting any power.

Thanks

some times a fuse may not look blown but it is. find 12 volt power tester (kind of loops like a screw driver with an alagator clip and a clear handel with a light inside)go to your battery and hook up the fuse up to the alagator clip and touch the fuse to the + or the - on the batery termenal. then touch the pointed end of the tester to the opposite terminal

light comes on your fuse is still good

else

of course the fuse is bad and change the fuse
