Im pretty sure they are required by law to continue to stock repair parts for a car for ten years after production (so that people can still get parts on cars after they are discontinued) how ever if they can offer a fairly comprable part (aka non honed manifold) i think that they can get away with not carrying the svt specific part

No!
IMO EHing any manifold other then a DH UIM is a complete waste of money.
At $400-450 per pass you would be spending a fortune to make your's a triple honed. (Yes that's $800-900 plus shipping both ways!)
A stock to triple honed = $1200-1350
Even if you got a insider deal you are still looking at $650+ & $1000+ respectively to make it a triple honed.
Now you see why buying a DH UIM will always be cheaper compared to trying to make one yourself.
Buying them for $330 (BAT's old price IIRC) was highway robbery!!!
However with that said this is also why Ford may be considering not carrying the SVT UIM's anymore. IIRC they are back ordered indefinitely.
They probably got a killer deal when buying the EH process in bulk for 20-25,000 manifolds (15k+ production (SVT/ST200) plus 01 ST200 order) but I doubt they will get such a deal on a small restock order.
If they can't turn a large profit you know they won't do it just to carry a specialty part for a defunct car 3 years out of production.
SICK!!! I never expected it to be THAT much!! So what kind of gains would I be looking at for a triple extrude honed over the single?

Unknown.
If a DH is worth ~3FWHP/TQ over a SH through the entire rpm band on a moderately modified SVT then maybe double that. A little more or a little less depending on the mods.
Worth the money to do it to a SH UIM. HELL NO!!!
To be honest the only reason I did it (DH UIM to TH UIM) was the good deal I got on it. Even then I only got such a great deal because I was misquoted the price. (Several times - Thank goodness I saved all the emails! ...but that's another story altogether!)
If one already has a DH UIM and has plans for a 3L (especially) or even forced induction it's not a bad option at all.

i luckily got on a groub buy for the SVT UIM, TB, gaskets, etc. got about a 55% discount overall. iirc, the svt uim listed at about $700.
That was a great deal, wasnt it!
