Does anyone know what tool it takes to remove the
steering wheel air bag on a 95 Mystique? The
tranny shop tried to remove it to center the
steering wheel. It's real loose and the idiot
light is flashing a code 32. I just can't see
what the head of the fasteners look like.

Thanks
T.

it is a torks (sp?) bit. you could also use a allen wrench if you find a close size

Thanks brapple! It was a metric allen head. The main problem was I was looking in the wrong holes for the fasteners. There are a total of 6 holes in the backside of the steering wheel. I was looking in the outer 4 holes and it was actually the two middle holes.

The tranny shop installed the steering shaft on the rack and pinion off center by at least 90 deg to the right. Thus the clock spring was off center. The first time the steering wheel got cranked to the right lock it screwed up the clock spring. Thus the code 32.

Well it's off to the dealership AGAIN!

Thanks again!
This site is GREAT.
