OP 99SVT1766_dup1 New CEG\'er 9 Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 36 Elgin, IL	i've had this problem for awhile, i'm not sure if it is my sway bar and bushings or something else....i had this noise b4 i lowered my car back in august. i thought it was the stock suspension, after installing my new setup, to my surprise the noise was still there...now that i have had time to break in the new suspension, the clunking and the creeking has become more noticeable. i still have a stock sway bar and heard that i should increase the size since i lowered my car. between the new sway bar and bushings, wil this possibly do the trick? 99'Contour SVT #1766 of 2760 pionner deh-4400 cd/xm head unit Koni adjustables w/ H&R sport springs Yokohama ES-100 225/50/R16

If this is the problem, you can take them out, grease the daylights out of them, and put them back in. Clunking doesn't sound like a sway bar bushing problem though, unless the bushing is completely deteriorated, or broken apart.
